Recirculating evaporators are the ideal solution when direct expansion is not possible or does not provide adequate performance, particularly with refrigerants such as ammonia (NH₃) or CO₂.
In these applications, part of the outlet refrigerant is kept in the liquid phase to improve internal tube wetting, significantly enhancing heat transfer efficiency and operational stability.
